PVC

  • Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) is a commonly used thermoplastic material for manufacturing piping system components such as valves, fittings, flanges, and other specialty products. PVC is highly resistant to a wide variety of fluids, making it an ideal choice for applications that require excellent chemical and corrosion resistance
  • The ASTRAL PVC materials are in compliance with ASTM D1784 and conform to the ASTM Cell Classification 12454-B, which is formally designated as Type 1 Grade 1. The recommended maximum service temperature for PVC products is 60°C (140°F)

  • ASTRAL Aquarius+ pipes can be easily cut, shaped, welded, and joined together. The jointing process is simple and quick with the help of the special IPS solvent cement provided by the company, which ensures that the joints are 100% leak-proof.

Resistant to Fire:

  • The ASTRAL Aquarius+ Industrial Piping System has inherent fire resistance properties and once the heat source is removed, it stops burning.

UV Stabilized:

  • The ASTRAL Aquarius+ Industrial Piping System is suitable for use in conditions where it is exposed to sunlight. However, it is recommended to apply a standard exterior latex paint (water-based) to provide sufficient protection for the system.

Safe Material for Drinking Water:

  • The non-toxic and lead-free ASTRAL Aquarius+ pipes make them a safe material for drinking water.
